Staff Accountant (Remote)
We’re looking for a detail-driven problem-solver who thrives on turning chaos into clarity. If you
love organizing financials, optimizing processes, and building genuine client relationships, you
might be the perfect fit for Accounted.
What you’ll do
Daily Financial Operations
(50%)
+ Process accounts payable and payments, ensuring accuracy and approvals.
+ Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment application.
+ Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payment systems regularly.
+ Handle client payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
+ Maintain consistent, well-documented internal processes.
Reconciliation & Reporting (30%)
+ Execute month-end close and reconciliations.
+ Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time.
+ Process tax filings and ensure compliance.
+ Reconcile balance sheets, maintaining accuracy and integrity.
+ Keep client deadlines and deliverables on track.
Client Relationship Management (20%)
+ Serve as a primary point of contact, providing responsive, professional communication.
+ Lead and participate in client calls, providing clear financial insights.
+ Document client interactions and maintain comprehensive, up-to-date records.
+ Identify opportunities to add value and enhance client relationships.
